“Beatles and Beyond”
a special program featuring songs from after the Beatles break up in addition to orchestral arrangements of Beatles songs, our  4th annual with the Santa Cruz County Symphony.

this time, our long time cohort Barry Phillips writes new orchestral charts for John Lennon’s “Jealous guy”, Paul McCartney’s “Live and let Die”, George Harrison’s  ’Isn’t it a Pity”, and that theme continues with Ringo’s ‘Photograph” and ‘It dont Come Easy”, featuring guest saxophonist Roger Eddy. The lovely Jesse Autumn will play Celtic harp, and more surprises are in store.

July 12 Kennolyn Hilltop Hacienda- the White album ensemble “Unplugged” this will be an afternoon- early evening show, perhaps the most beautiful venue imaginable, with an ocean view framed by redwoods on a mountaintop in Soquel,  with hawks circling overhead as the WAE performs some of the , minutes from highway 1 and downtown Santa Cruz.

Music in the park FREE SHOW 5:45- 8:45 downtown San Jose, Plaza Cesar Chavez, First and Market streets. This is an annual event, attended by as many as 4000 happy siliconvalleyites after they get off work on a summer afternoon, what could be better than the WAE performing their latest show ‘Across the Universe’ ( songs from the film) as well as excerpts from the post- break- up Beatles solo years. Featuring Drew Harrison, Grammy Nominee Tammi Brown, Alysha Antonino, James Durbin, Barry Phillips, a cast of thousands !

a very special John Lennon’s Birthday show, featuring John’s Beatles songs and co-writes, as well as selections from the solo albums.  More details soon.
